I tried to export and email an illuminance measurement file in the HOK format, but I was unable to send it because the attachment was too large. How can I avoid this issue?

Illuminance Measurement

Constraints on the size of email attachments depend on email client, email server, carrier, and other variables.
Illuminance measurement files are larger than the files generated by other GENNECT Cross functions because they contain drawing images and photographs, making them more likely to run afoul of these types of restrictions.

If you find yourself unable to send a file as an email attachment,

  1. try reducing the file size by lowering the resolution of the drawing or photograph being used in the illuminance measurement function
  2. choose another means of sending the file, for example Dropbox
