This functionality allows you to download measured values from up to 15 LAN-connected instruments and display them in real-time as a monitor or graph display. The monitor display can display up to 512 parameters, and the graph display up to 32 parameters, in real time.
Connect the computer running GENNECCT Cross for Windows SF4000 (available for free download) to one or more instruments using LAN cables. Use a hub if connecting multiple instruments. You can connect up to 15 instruments in this manner.
Consult your network system administrator for more information about network settings such as the IP addresses allocated to the computer and instruments
Real-time measurement (logging)
Selecting instruments and measurement channels
GENNECT Cross for Windows automatically searches for LAN-connected instruments and displays them as a list. Select the instruments and measurement channels you wish to measure in real time. You can select up to 512 channels for the monitor display, or up to 32 channels for the graph display.
Setting the logging conditions
You can select the following values for the logging interval: 1 sec., 2 sec., 5 sec., 10 sec., 30 sec., 1 min., 2 min., 5 min., 10 min., 30 min., and 1 hr. You may not be able to select all logging intervals if your network is carrying too much traffic.
Once logging starts, the monitor, graph, and list displays will be updated in real time depending on the selected logging interval.
